உரையாடல் இரண்டு அல்லது அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட உயிரினங்களுக்கு இடையேயான ஒரு உரையாடலாகும். வார்த்தை உரையாடலின் சொற்பிறப்பியல் தோற்றம் கிரேக்கம் διά மற்றும் λόγος இலிருந்து வந்தது.
