Çekimserlik, bir oylamada bir katılımcının oy vermediği ya da parlamento usulünde oylamada hazır bulunmadığı, oy kullanmadığı için seçim prosedüründe geçen bir terimdir. Çekimserlik, bir seçmenin yanlışlıkla işaretleyerek ya da hiç bir şey işaretlemeyerek kasıtlı olarak geçersiz oy kullandığı "boş oy" ile karşılaştırılmalıdır.
