Zafer Mail'in kısaltması olan V-mail, Amerika'daki İkinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında yurtdışında konuşlandırılmış askerlere karşılık gelen ilk ve güvenli yöntem olarak kullanılan melez bir posta işlemidir. Orjinal bir mektubu askeri posta sistemine aktarmadaki lojistiğini azaltmak için, bir V-mail mektubu sansürecek, filmin içine kopyalanacak ve varış noktasına vardıklarında kağıda basılacak. V-posta işlemi daha önceki British Airgraph sürecine dayanır.
