Yosunlar, 50 metre uzunluğa kadar büyüyebilen büyük kahverengi bir yosun gibi dev keçiboynuzu gibi çok hücreli formlara, Klorella ve diyatomlar gibi tek hücreli cinslerden çok hücreli cinslerden çok çeşitli ökaryotik organizmalar grubudur.
