Allopatik tıp, hastalıkların veya durumların belirtilerini veya patofizyolojik süreçlerini tedavi etmek veya bastırmak için farmakolojik olarak aktif maddelerin genel tıbbi kullanımını veya fiziksel müdahaleleri ifade eden homeopatlar ve alternatif tıp diğer biçimlerinin savunucuları tarafından sıkça kullanılan bir ifadedir. Bu ifade, 1810 yılında homeopati yaratıcısı Samuel Hahnemann tarafından oluşturuldu. Bu tür çevrelerde "allopatik tıp" ifadesi, "bazen Batı tıbbı, biyotıp, kanıta dayalı tıp veya modern tıp" olarak adlandırılan tıbbı uygulamaların geniş kategorisini ifade etmek için kullanılmaktadır.
