Dilbilimde, onaylanmış diller günümüzde delillerin yazıtlar ya da edebiyat biçiminde ya da dilden beri dile getirildiği dillerdir. Dilsel yeniden yapılandırma çalışmaları sonucunda önerilen varsayımsal proto- danlar olan, katılımsız diller ile ters düşüyorlar. Bir dilde, doğrudan kullanılan bilinen belirli sözcük formları - bunlar edebiyatta, yazıtlarda veya belgelenmiş konuşmada gösterildikleri için - onaylanmış formlar olarak adlandırılır.
