Aksiyoloji, değerin felsefi çalışmasıdır. Ya etik ve estetik için toplu bir terimdir - felsefi alanlarda değer kavramları üzerinde büyük önemi olan ya da bu alanların temelini oluşturan ve bu nedenle değer teorisi ve meta-etik ile benzerdir. Terim ilk kez 1902'de Paul Lapie ve 1908'de Eduard von Hartmann tarafından kullanılmıştır. Aksiyoloji temelde iki değer çeşidi üzerinde çalışmaktadır: etik ve estetik. Etik, bireysel ve toplumsal davranışlarda "doğru" ve "iyi" kavramlarını inceler. Estetik, "güzellik" ve "uyum" kavramlarını inceler. Resmi aksiyoloji, matematiksel titizlikle değer ile ilgili prensipler ortaya koyma girişimi, Robert S. Hartman'ın Değer Bilimi ile örneklendirilir. Her iki türdeki çalışmalar Cultura'da bulunur: Uluslararası Kültür Felsefesi ve Aksiyoloji Dergisi.
