Bosworth Sahası Savaşı, 15. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında İngiltere genelinde sergilenen Lancaster Evleri ve York arasındaki iç savaş olan Güller Savaşları'nın son önemli savaşıydı. 22 Ağustos 1485'da savaşan Lancastrialılar savaşı kazandı. Onların zaferiyle liderlerinden Henry Tudor, Richmond Earl, Tudor hanedanının ilk ingiliz hükümdarı oldu. Rakibi Richard House'un son kralını yapan Richard III, savaşta öldürüldü. Tarihçiler, Bosworth Field'ı Plantagenet hanedanının sonunu işaretleyerek İngiliz ve Galler tarihinin belirleyici bir anı haline getirdi. Richard'ın hükümdarlığı, 1483 yılında, on iki yaşındaki Yeğeni Edward V'nin (Lord Koruyucu olarak hareket ettiği için) meşru olmayan ve tahta uygun olmadığı ilan edildikten sonra tahttan indirildiğinde başladı. Oğlan ve küçük kardeşi esrarengiz koşullar altında kayboldu ve Richard'ın karısının ölümüne karıştığına dair söylentiler ertelendi.
