Bertolt Brecht (dinlemek); doğan Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht (yardım · info), 10 Şubat 1898 - 14 Ağustos 1956) bir Alman şairi, oyun yazarı, tiyatro yönetmeni ve Marksist idi. 20. yüzyılın tiyatro uygulayıcısı olan Brecht, dramaturgy ve tiyatro üretimine katkıda bulundu. Brecht, Brecht ve eşi uzun zamandır işbirliği yapan ve aktris Helene Weigel tarafından yönetilen savaş sonrası tiyatro topluluğu olan Berliner Ensemble'ın gerçekleştirdiği turlarla katkıda bulundu.
