Bir diyot köprüsü, bir girdi polaritesi için aynı kutupsallık sağlayan bir köprü devre konfigürasyonunda dört diyodun bir düzenlemesidir. En yaygın uygulamasında, alternatif akım girişinin doğru akım çıkışına çevrilmesi için kullanıldığında, bir köprü doğrultucu olarak bilinir. Bir köprü doğrultucu, iki telli bir AC girdisinden tam dalga doğrultusunu sağlar ve merkezi tertibli bir sekonder sargıya sahip bir trafonun 3 telli bir girişi olan bir doğrultucuya kıyasla daha düşük maliyet ve ağırlık sağlar. Bir diyot köprüsünün esas özelliği, girişteki kutupsallık ne olursa olsun, kutupsallığın aynı olmasıdır. Diyot köprüsü devresi Polonya elektroteknikçisi Karol Pollak tarafından keşfedildi ve patent 14 Ocak 1896'da DRP 96564 numarası altında kaydedildi. Daha sonra Elektronische Zeitung, cilt no. 25 Alman fizikçi Leo Graetz'in de o zaman bu konuyu araştırdığı konusunda açıklama yaparak 1897'de yayınladı. Günümüzde devre hala Graetz devresi ya da Graetz köprüsü olarak adlandırılmaktadır.
