Bronşektazi
Bronşektazi, akciğer solunum yollarının parçalarının kalıcı olarak genişlediği bir hastalıktır. [1] Semptomlar tipik olarak balgam üretimi olan kronik bir öksürüktür. [2] Diğer belirtiler arasında nefes darlığı, kan öksürme ve göğüs ağrısı sayılabilir. [1] Hışıltı ve tırnak sopası da oluşabilir. Hastalıkları olan kişiler sık sık akciğer enfeksiyonlarına yakalanırlar. [1] Bronşektazi, pnömoni, tüberküloz, bağışıklık sistemi sorunları ve kistik fibroz gibi bir takım infektif ve edinilmiş nedenlerden kaynaklanabilir2. [3] Kistik fibroz sonunda hemen hemen tüm vakalarda ağır bronşektazi ile sonuçlanır. [4] Kistik fibrozisiz hastaların% 10-50'sinde neden bilinmemektedir. Hastalığın mekanizması, aşırı derecede iltihaplanmaya bağlı hava yolu dağılımıdır. Katkıda bulunan bronşlar büyütülür ve böylece sekresyonları daha az temizleyebilir. Bu salgılar akciğerlerdeki bakteri miktarını arttırır, solunum yollarının tıkanmasına ve hava yollarının daha da parçalanmasına neden olur. [2] Obstrüktif akciğer hastalığı, kronik obstrüktif akciğer hastalığı ve astım ile birlikte sınıflandırılır. [5] Teşhis şüpheli bir kişinin semptomlarına dayanır ve bilgisayar tomografisi kullanılarak doğrulanır.
