Devlet bütçesi dengesi
Hükümet bütçesi, devletin önerilen gelirlerini ve bir mali yıla yönelik harcamaları sunan hükümet belgesidir. Hükümet bütçe dengesi, alternatif olarak genel hükümet dengesi, kamu bütçesi dengesizliği veya kamu mali dengesidir; hükümet gelirleri ile harcamaları arasındaki genel farktır. Olumlu bir dengeye hükümet bütçesi fazlası denir ve negatif bakiye ise bir hükümet bütçe açığıdır. Her bir devlet düzeyi için bir bütçe hazırlanır ve kamu sosyal güvenlik yükümlülüklerini dikkate alır. Devlet bütçe dengesi, faiz dışı denge ve genel hükümetin yapısal dengesi gibi yakından ilişkili terimlerle daha da ayrıştırılmıştır. Birincil bütçe bakiyesi, faiz ödemeleri öncesi hükümet bütçe dengesine eşittir. Yapısal bütçe, ülke ekonomisinde gerçek GSYİH değişikliklerinin etkileri için düzeltme girişimlerini denetler.
