Selüloit
Selüloidler, nitroselüloz ve kafurdan, ilave edilmiş boyalar ve diğer ajanlardan oluşan bir bileşik sınıfıdır. Genellikle ilk termoplastik olarak düşünülmüş, ilk önce 1857'de Parkesine, 1870'de Selüloit olarak tescil edilmeden önce 1869'da Xylonite olarak yaratılmıştır. Selüloit kolayca biçimlendirilmiş ve biçimlendirilmiştir ve ilk olarak bir fildişi yerine koyma olarak kullanılmıştır. Asıl amaç film ve fotoğraf filmi endüstrileriydi ve elliliklerdeki asetat filmlerinden önce selüloit filmler kullandı.
