Botanikte kloroz, yapraklarda yetersiz klorofil üreten bir durumdur. Klorofil yaprakların yeşil renginden sorumlu olduğundan, klorotik yapraklar soluk, sarı veya sarı-beyazdır. Etkilenen bitki, fotosentez yoluyla karbonhidrat üretim yeteneğine sahip değildir ya da hiç yoktur, ancak albino Arabidopsis thaliana mutant ppi2 gibi bazı klorotik bitkiler, eksojen sükroz ile sağlanırsa canlıdır, ancak klorofil yetersizliğinin nedeni işlenmezse ölebilir. Kloroz, Chloris kelimesinden veya 'yeşilimsi sarı', 'soluk yeşil', 'soluk', 'solmaz' veya 'taze' anlamındaki Yunanca khloslardan türetilmiştir. Asma bağlarında zayıf beslenmenin en yaygın belirtisi olan bağcılıkta, klorozdan kaynaklanan üzüm yapraklarının sararması ve müteakip klorofil kaybı söz konusudur.
