Presbiteryen politikası, papazların ya da yaşlıların meclisleri tarafından belirlenen bir kilise yönetişimi metodudur. Her yerel kilise, çoğunlukla oturum veya konsorsiyum olarak adlandırılan seçilmiş bir yaşlılar tarafından yönetilir, ancak kilise kurulu gibi diğer şartlar da uygulanabilir. Yerel kiliselerin grupları, papazlık veya sınıf olarak bilinen daha büyük bir üst düzey meclis tarafından yönetilir; papazlar bir sinod olarak gruplandırılabilir ve Presbiteryalar, ülke genelindeki sinodlar ile birlikte genel kurulda bir araya gelirler.
