Kozmid
Bir kosmid, Lambda faj cos sekansı içeren bir hibrid plasmid türüdür. Cosmids'in DNA sekansları aslen lambda fajındandır. Genetik mühendisliğinde sıklıkla klonlama vektörü olarak kullanılırlar. Kozmidler genomik kütüphaneleri oluşturmak için kullanılabilir. İlk kez 1978'de Collins ve Hohn tarafından tanımlandı.
