DAIMYO SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Daimyo
Daimyo (büyük adı, daimyō ?, 'die-myō' (yardım / info) olarak telaffuz edildi), pre-modern Japonya'da ülkenin çoğunu geniş, kalıtsal topraklarından yöneten güçlü topraklardılar. Terim anlamıyla "dai" (büyük?) Kelimenin tam anlamıyla "büyük" anlamına gelir ve "myō", özel arazi anlamına gelen myōden (名 田?) Anlamına gelir. Sadece şogun astı olan daimyo, 10. yüzyıldan 19. yüzyılın ortalarına kadar Japonya'daki en güçlü feodal hükümdardı. Muromachi döneminin Şugosu'ndan Sengoku'ya kadar, Edo döneminin daimyo'suna kadar rütbenin uzun ve çeşitli geçmişi vardı. "Daimyo" terimi bazen "kral" olarak da bilinen bu türden klanların önde gelen isimlerine atıfta bulunur. Genelde, sadece münhasıran değil, bu savaş ağalarından bir şahin ortaya çıktı ya da bir naip seçildi. Daimyo sık sık arazilerini korumak için samuray kiraladı ve samurayaya karada ya da yiyecekte para verdi. Nispeten az sayıda daimyo, samuray'a para ödemeyi göze alabilirdi.
