Decameron, altmış başlık Prince Galehaut, 14. yüzyıl İtalyan yazar Giovanni Boccaccio'nun bir roman koleksiyonudur. Kitap, kenti etkileyen Kara Ölüm'den kaçmak için Floransa'nın hemen dışındaki tenha bir villada barınak yedi genç kadın ve üç genç tarafından anlatılan 100 öykü içeren bir çerçeve öyküsü olarak yapılandırılmıştır. Boccaccio muhtemelen Decameron'u 1348 salgınından sonra düşünmüş ve 1353'te tamamlamıştır. Decameron'daki çeşitli aşk hikayeleri erotikten trajiktir. Zekâ hikayeleri, pratik şakalar ve hayat dersleri mozaik için katkıda bulunur. Edebi değeri ve yaygın etkisine ek olarak, o sırada bir yaşam belgesi sağlıyor. Floransa dilinin ana dilinde yazılmış olan bu kitap, klasik İtalyan eserlerinin başyapıtı olarak kabul edilir.
