Sayılabilir set
Matematikte, sayılabilir küme, doğal sayı kümesinin bazı alt kümeleri ile aynı kardinaliteye sahip bir kümedir. Sayılabilir olmayan bir takıma sayılamaz denir. Bu terim Georg Cantor tarafından oluşturuldu. Sayılabilir bir takımın öğeleri birer birer sayılabilir ve sayım hiçbir zaman sona ermese de, kümenin her öğesi sonunda doğal bir sayı ile ilişkilendirilir. Bazı yazarlar, sayılabilir kümeyi, doğal sayılar kümesiyle aynı düzeyde olan bir kümeyi ifade etmek için kullanır. Sayılabilir kümenin iki anlamı arasındaki fark, sonlu kümeleri nasıl ele aldıkları ile ilgilidir. Birinci tanım kapsamında, sonlu kümeler sayılabilir, ikinci tanım altında ise kümeler sayılmaz kabul edilir. Bu belirsizliği gidermek için, en fazla sayılabilir terim ilk tanım için bazen kullanılır ve ikincisi için sayıca sonsuz kullanılır. Denklenemez terim, sayısız sınırsız terimin aksine, sayılabilir şekilde sonsuz veya sayılabilir anlamına da gelebilir.
