DNA SEQUENCE SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Nükleik asit dizilimi
Bir nükleik asit sekansı, bir DNA veya RNA molekülü içindeki nükleotitlerin sırasını belirten bir dizi ardışık harftir. Sözleşmeye göre, diziler genellikle 5 'ucundan 3' ucuna sunulmaktadır. Nükleik asitler normal olarak doğrusal polimerlerdir, dizinin belirlenmesi, tüm molekülün kovalent yapısının tanımlanmasına eşdeğerdir. Bu nedenle nükleik asit sekansı birincil yapı olarak da adlandırılır. Dizinin bilgiyi temsil etme kapasitesi vardır. Biyolojik DNA, canlıların işlevlerini yönlendiren bilgileri temsil eder. Bu bağlamda genetik terim sıklıkla kullanılır. Diziler, DNA sıralama yöntemleri vasıtasıyla biyolojik hammaddeden okunabilir. Nükleik asitler ayrıca ikincil bir yapıya ve üçüncül yapıya sahiptirler. Birincil yapı bazen yanlışlıkla birincil sekans olarak anılır. Tersine, ikincil veya üçüncül dizi diye bir paralel kavram bulunmamaktadır.
