Bir motor-jeneratör, elektrik gücünü başka bir forma dönüştüren bir cihazdır. Motor-jeneratör setleri, frekans, voltaj veya fazın güç dönüştürülmesi için kullanılır. Ayrıca, elektriksel güç kaynak hattından elektrik yüklerini izole etmek için de kullanılabilirler.
