Electrojet
Bir elektrojektör, Dünya iyonosferinin E bölgesindeki dolaşan bir elektrik akımını ifade eder. İki elektrojet vardır: Manyetik ekvatordan ve Kuzey ve Güney Polar Çemberleri'nin yakınında. Elektrojeler, 100 ila 150 km arasındaki yüksekliklerde elektronlar tarafından taşınan Hall akımlarıdır. Bu bölgede elektron cayro frekansı elektron-nötr çarpışma frekansından çok daha büyüktür. Aksine, ana E bölgesi iyonlarının iyon-nötr çarpışma frekansından çok daha düşük gür frekansları vardır.
