Electrotyping
Elektrotypleme, bir modeli tam olarak üreten metal parçaları oluşturmak için kimyasal bir yöntemdir. Yöntem, Moritz von Jacobi tarafından 1838 yılında Rusya'da icat edildi ve baskı ve diğer birçok alanda uygulamalar için hemen kabul edildi. 1890 tarihli bir tez yazısında tarif edildiği gibi, elektro-tipleme, kullanılacak "kazınmış bir çelik veya bakır plaka, ahşap kesim veya kurulum tipi herhangi bir nesnenin tam bir faksımsı" düzensiz bir yüzeye sahip olmasını sağlar matbaa, madalyon, heykel, büst veya hatta sanat amaçlı doğal bir nesne "olarak tanımladı.
