Etkileşimli arayüzler, eylem yoluyla edinilen bilgilerin organizasyonuna ve aktarılmasına izin veren etkileşimli sistemlerdir. Örnekler, bir veritabanına birden fazla modality etkileşimi kullanarak üç boyutlu bir nesnenin şekillendirilmesi veya bir öğrencinin matematik kavramlarıyla görsel olarak etkileşime girmesine izin vermek için etkileşimli video kullanması gibi, genellikle insansız yapılan işleri yapmak için bir insanı bir makineyle birleştiren arabirimlerdir. Aktif arayüz tasarımına, mevduatların farkındalığını artırma fikri, yani etkinleştirilmiş arayüzü kullanan birisine sunulan olası eylemlerin farkındalığının optimizasyonu yoluyla yaklaşılabilir. Bu optimizasyon, görünürlük, satın alımı ve geri bildirimi içerir.
