Ephemeris zamanı
Efmer zamanı terimi (genellikle ET olarak kısaltılmıştır), prensip olarak herhangi bir astronomik efemeriyle bağlantılı olan zamanı ifade edebilir. Uygulamada daha özel olarak, aşağıdakileri belirtmek için kullanılmıştır: ▪ 1952'de IAU tarafından kabul edilen ve 1970'lerde geçilen eski bir standart astronomik zaman ölçeği. Bu zaman ölçeği, düzensiz dalgalanan ortalama güneş zamanının dezavantajlarının üstesinden gelmek için 1948'de önerildi. Sözlükte ephemer zamanının tanımı, yeryüzünün eksenel dönüşünden ziyade güneş etrafındaki dünyanın yörüngesine dayanan bir zamandır; bir ephemmeriz, 1900 tropik yılının 1/31 556 925.9747'sidir. 1960-1983 yılları arasında astronomik zaman ölçeği olarak yerini aldı ancak yerini karasal dinamik zaman ve bariyentik dinamik zaman aldı.
