Avrupa Komünizmi, çeşitli Batı Avrupa komünist partileri içinde 1970'lerde ve 1980'lerde bir Batı Avrupa ülkesi için daha alakalı olan ve Sovyetler Birliği Komünist Partisinin nüfuzuna veya kontrolüne daha az uyum sağlayan bir toplumsal dönüşüm teorisini ve uygulamasını geliştiren bir eğilimdi. Batı Avrupa dışında, bazen "Neocommunism" olarak anılır. Bu teori daha fazla bağımsızlığı vurguluyor.
