Evanjelizm, Hıristiyan İncilinin vaazı veya belirli bir inanç kümesiyle ilgili bilgiyi dönüşüm amaçlı olarak başkalarına aktarma uygulamasıdır. Bu terim, herhangi bir Hıristiyan geleneği ile sınırlı değildir ve çok çeşitli "Protestan Protestan kiliseler ve gruplar" için ortak bir terim olan Evanjelizm ile karıştırılmamalıdır. Evanjelizm konusunda uzman olan Hıristiyanlar, ister ev topluluklarında olsun isterse de misyoner olarak yaşamak olsun, genellikle evanjelikler olarak bilinirler, ancak bazı Hıristiyan gelenekleri her iki durumda da misyonerler gibi insanlara atıfta bulunur. Bazı Hıristiyan gelenekleri, evanjelistleri bir liderlik pozisyonunda görür; büyük toplantılara vaaz vermek veya yönetişim rollerinde bulunabilirler.
