FAIL-SAFE SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?

Arıza emniyetli veya arızalı bir cihaz, arıza durumunda diğer cihazlara zarar vermeyecek veya en azından minimum bir zarara neden olacak veya personele tehlike oluşturacak şekilde cevap veren cihazdır. Fail-safe ve fail-secure benzer ancak farklı kavramlardır. Arızalı güvenlik, bir cihazın başarısız olduğu zaman yaşamları veya mülkleri tehlikeye atmayacağı anlamına gelir. Arızalı güvenlik, başarısızlık durumunda erişimin veya verilerin yanlış ellere düşmemesi anlamına gelir. Bazen yaklaşımlar zıt çözümler önerir.
