FIRELOCK SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Kilit (ateşli silah)
Ateşli silahın kilidi, iticiyi tutuşturmak için kullanılan sistemdir. Kilit çeşitleri arasında anahtarı, mızrap kilidi, peluş, yanak tutuşu, modern perküsyon, döner cıvatalar ve deneysel elektronik tipler bulunmaktadır. Tam bir ateşli silah genellikle kilit, stok ve namludan oluşur. Mühimmatın tutulması için genel mekanizma, ateşli silah eylemi olarak bilinir. Fılock terimi, adından da anlaşılacağı üzere, mızrap kilidine aslen uygulanmıştı, fakat daha sonra her biri keşfedildiğinde wheellock'a ve sonradan flintlock'a uygulandı.
