Fluorometer
Florometre veya florimetre, flüoresan parametrelerini ölçmek için kullanılan bir cihazdır: belirli bir ışık tayfı uyarımı sonrasında emisyon spektrumunun yoğunluğu ve dalga boyu dağılımı. Bu parametreler, bir ortamdaki spesifik moleküllerin varlığını ve miktarını belirlemek için kullanılır. Modern florometreler floresan molekül konsantrasyonlarını trilyon başına 1 parça kadar algılayabilirler. Flüoresan analizi, diğer tekniklerden daha hassas büyüklükte emir olabilir. Uygulamalar arasında kimya / biyokimya, tıp, çevresel izleme yer alır. Örneğin, bitki fizyolojisini araştırmak için klorofil floresansını ölçmek için kullanılırlar.
