Fowlpox, Poxviridae familyasına ve Avipoxvirus familyasına ait virüslerin neden olduğu kanatlı hayvan hastalıklarının dünya çapındaki bir hastalıktır. Fowlpox'a neden olan virüsler, tavuk, hindiler, bıldırcın, kanaryalar, güvercinler ve diğer pek çok kuş türü dahil, antijenik olarak benzer, muhtemel konakçılardan birbirinden farklıdır. Hastalığın iki şekli var. Birincisi yiyen böcekler ve yara kontaminasyonu ile yayılır ve tarak, çıngırdaklar ve gagalarda lezyonlara neden olur. Bu formdan etkilenen kuşlar genellikle birkaç hafta içinde iyileşirler.
