Translasyonel çerçeve kaydırma veya ribozomal çerçeve kaydırma, protein dönüşümünün alternatif bir prosesine işaret eder. Bir protein, mRNA'nın bir ucundan diğerine, 5 'ucundan 3' ucuna tercüme edilir. Normalde bir protein, tek nükleik asit olarak okunan ardışık 3 nükleotid blokları olan bir şablon mRNA'sından çevrilir.
