Funktör
Matematikte, bir functor kategori teorisinde uygulanan kategoriler arasında haritalama türüdür. Funktörler kategoriler arasında homomorfizm olarak düşünülebilir. Küçük kategoriler kategorisinde functorlar daha genel olarak morfizmler olarak düşünülebilir. Funktörler, cebirsel cisimlerin topolojik uzaylarla ilişkili olduğu cebirsel topolojide ilk olarak düşünülmüş ve cebirsel homomorfizmler sürekli haritalar ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Günümüzde, funktörler çeşitli matematik kategorilerini ilişkilendirmek için modern matematikte kullanılmaktadır.
