Dev Kavağı, eski bir volkanik patlamanın sonucu olarak, yaklaşık 40.000 adet birbirine geçen bazalt kolonların bir alandır. County Antrim'de, Bushmills kasabasının yaklaşık 3 mil kuzeydoğusunda, Kuzey İrlanda'nın kuzeydoğu kıyısında yer almaktadır. 1986'da UNESCO tarafından Dünya Mirası Listesi ilan edilmiş ve 1987'de Kuzey İrlanda Çevre Dairesi tarafından Ulusal Doğa Koruma Bölgesi ilan edilmiştir. Sütunların üstleri uçurumdan çıkan ve denizin altında kaybolan basamakları oluşturur. Dört, beş, yedi veya sekiz kenarlı olan bazı sütunlar olmasına rağmen sütunların çoğu altıgen şeklindedir. En yüksek 12 metre yüksekliğindedir ve uçurumların içindeki katılaşmış lavlar 28 metre kalınlığındadır. Giant's Causeway bugün Ulusal Güven tarafından yönetilmekte ve yönetilmektedir ve Kuzey İrlanda'daki en popüler turistik mekandır.
