Samuel Gompers
Samuel Gompers, İngiliz doğumlu bir Amerikan puro üreticisi olup, emekçi sendika lideri ve Amerikan işçi tarihinde önemli bir figür haline geldi. Gompers, Amerikan İşçi Federasyonu'nu kurdu ve 1886-1894 yılları arasında kuruluşun başkanı ve 1895'ten 1924'teki ölümüyle birlikte görev yaptı.
