Kağıt yoğunluğu kağıt hamuru ve kağıt endüstrisinde kullanılan bir terimdir ve ayrıca bir çeşit kumaş, kağıt veya mukavva için alanın birim başına ürünün kütlesini belirtmek için kumaş endüstrisi için de kullanılır. "Yoğunluk" terimi, geleneksel birim hacim kütlesi anlamında kullanılmaz. "Kağıt yoğunluğu", daha ziyade, alan yoğunluğunun bir ölçüsüdür.
