Ipomoea / ˌɪpɵmiːə / 500 türü olan çiçekli bitki örümcek aleminde en büyük cins. Sabah görkemi, tatlı patates, bağırsak çiçeği, ay çiçeği gibi yaygın isimlerle geniş ve çeşitlilik gösteren bir gruptur. En yaygın yaygın ismi sabah ihtişamlarıdır ancak aynı ortak ismi taşıyan ilgili cinslerde de vardır. Calonyction'da önceden ayrılmış olanlara ay küpleri denir. Genel ismi, "solucan" veya "bağ kurdu" anlamına gelen ιπς veya ιπος Yunanca kelimelerinden ve "benzer" anlamındaki όμοιος türetilmiştir. Bu, onların sicim alışkanlığına atıfta bulunur. Cins, dünyanın tropik ve subtropikal bölgeleri boyunca bulunur ve yıllık ve çok yıllık otsu bitkiler, lianalar, çalılar ve küçük ağaçları içerir; türlerin çoğunda tırmanan bitkiler sarmalıyor.
