Itacolumite, ince şerit halinde kesildiğinde doğal olarak bulunan gözenekli sarı kumtaşıdır. Brezilya Minas Gerais'in güney kesiminde Itacolumi'de çok sayıda görülür. Ayrıca Jhajjar, Hindistan'da da bulunur; Gürcistan; ve Stokes ve McDowell County, Kuzey Carolina, ABD. Esnek bir kumtaşının en iyi ve en yaygın örneğidir ve Minas Gerais alanında bulunan bir elmas kaynağıdır. Döşemelerin bölünmüş yüzeylerinde yeşilimsi mika ölçekleri görülebilir, ancak diğer açılardan kayalar son derece saf görünmektedir.
