Libya, resmi olarak Libya Devleti, Kuzey Afrika'nın Akdeniz bölgesinden kuzeyine, Mısır'ın doğusunda, Sudan'ın güneydoğusuna, Çad ve Nijer'in güneyine, Cezayir ve Tunus'a sınırlanan Kuzey Afrika'nın Mağrib bölgesinde bulunan bir ülkedir.
