Mantıksal olarak mümkün olan bir öneri, mantıksal bir çelişki içermeksizin iddia edilebilir. Bu demektir ki, eğer önermenin doğru olacağı için dünyaya tutarlı bir yol varsa mantıklı bir şekilde bir önerme mümkündür. Böylece, "gökyüzü mavidir" mantıksal olarak mümkündür: Dünyaya gerçek olamayacak şekilde mantıksal olarak tutarlı bir yol var, yani, dünyanın gerçekte olduğu gibi.
