MAJOR SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Majör
Binbaşı, askeri kuvvetlerdeki ilgili kademelerle, 300 ila 1,200 askerlik birliklere komuta eden uzman bir yönetici ya da operasyon görevlisine verilen askeri bir görevli subaydır. Telsize edilmemiş olarak kullanıldığında, başka hiçbir göstergeyle bağlantılı olarak, rütbe sadece bir ordu kaptanı üst düzeyinde ve yarbay rütbesinin altında. Saha görevlisinin en gençleri arasında sayılır. Bazı militarlarda, özellikle Fransa ve İrlanda'da majör rütbesine komutan, diğerlerinde ise kaptanın lideri olarak bilinir.
