Menander, Yunanlı bir oyun yazarı ve Atenalı Yeni Komedi'nin en ünlü temsilcisidir. Yüzü aşkın komedi yazarıydı ve ödülü Lenaia festivalinde sekiz kez aldı. City Dionysia'daki kayıtları bilinmiyor, ancak benzer derecede muhteşem olmuş olabilir.
