Mongoloid /mɒŋ.ɡə.lɔɪd/, Doğu Asya, Orta Asya, Güneydoğu Asya, Sibirya, Kuzey Kutup bölgesi, Amerika ve Pasifik Adaları'nın bir bölümünde yaygın olan epikantik kat ve diğer fiziksel özellikler gibi bazı fenotipik özelliklerini paylaşan popülasyonlara ve Güney Asya'nın küçük kesimleri. Nüfus açısından, insan türünün üçte birinden fazlasını oluşturan en yaygın fiziksel tiplendir. Sözcük, "Moğol" temel kelimesi ve "benzer" anlamına gelen "-oid" sonekiyle oluşturulmuştur, bu nedenle terim anlamıyla "Moğolları andırmak" anlamına gelir. Erken etnoloji tarafından öncelikle insanlığın öne sürülen üç büyük ırkından biri olan çeşitli merkez ve Doğu Asya popülasyonlarını tanımlamak için başlatıldı.
