MONOTYPE SÖZCÜĞÜ İNGILIZCE DİLİNDE NE ANLAMA GELİR?
Monotipi
Monotipleme, pürüzsüz, emici olmayan bir yüzeye çizim veya boyama yapılarak yapılan baskı yapımının bir türüdür. Yüzey veya matris, tarihsel olarak bir bakır aşındırma plakasıydı, ancak çağdaş çalışmada çinko veya camdan akrilik cama değişebilir. Görüntü daha sonra, genellikle bir matbaa kullanılarak ikiye basılarak bir kağıt yaprağına aktarılır. Monotipler aynı zamanda tüm bir yüzeyin mürekkeplenmesi ve daha sonra fırçalar veya paçavralar kullanılarak oluşturulabilir, mürekkep çıkartılarak subtractive bir görüntü oluşturulur, ör. Opak bir renk alanından ışıklar yaratmak. Kullanılan mürekkepler yağ bazlı veya su bazlı olabilir. Yağ bazlı mürekkeplerle kağıt kuru olabilir, bu durumda görüntü kontrastı artırır veya kağıt nemli olabilir, bu durumda görüntünün tonlarında yüzde 10 daha fazla bulunur. Yeni bir baskıyı başka bir yüzeye bastırarak yapılan baskı, etkili bir şekilde plakaya dönüştürülmesini "özlü" olarak adlandırır.
