İstatistikte, hareketli bir ortalama, tam veri kümesinin farklı alt gruplarının bir ortalaması serisi oluşturarak veri noktalarını analiz etmek için bir hesaplamadır. Buna hareketli ortalama veya yuvarlanma ortalaması da denir ve sonlu dürtü cevap filtresi türüdür. Varyasyonlar şunları içerir: basit, birikimli veya ağırlıklı formlar. Bir dizi sayı ve sabit bir alt küme boyutu göz önüne alındığında, hareketli ortalamanın ilk elemanı, sayı dizisinin başlangıçtaki sabit alt kümesinin ortalaması alınarak elde edilir.
