Çamurluk (araç)
Çamurluk, bir tekerleği iyi çerçeveleyen bir otomobil, motosiklet veya başka bir araç gövdesi parçası için Amerikan İngilizcesi terimidir. Birincil amacı, dönen lastik tarafından kum, çamur, kayalar, sıvılar ve diğer yol spreylerinin havaya atılmasını önlemektir. Çamurluklar genellikle serttir ve yol yüzeyi ile temastan zarar görebilir. Bunun yerine, esnek kerpiç kapaklar, temasın mümkün olabileceği yere yakın kullanılır. Çamur gibi yapışkan maddeler pürüzsüz dış lastik yüzeyine yapışabilirken, taşlar gibi pürüzsüz gevşek nesneler lastik toprağa dolarken geçici olarak taban yüzü oluklarına gömülebilir hale gelebilir. Bu malzemeler, lastik, eklenen nesnelere kinetik enerji kazandırdığı için lastiğin yüzeyinden yüksek hızda çıkarılabilir. Lastik üstü ileriye doğru hareket eden bir araç için yukarı ve aşağı doğru dönüyor ve nesneleri aracın önündeki diğer araçlarda veya yayalar havaya atıyor olabilir. İngiliz İngilizcesinde çamurluğa kanat denir.
