Münih Anlaşması
Münih Anlaşması, Nazi Almanyasının, çoğunlukla Alman konuşmacılar tarafından yaşadığı, "Sudetenland" adlı yeni bir toprak adlandırmasının yapıldığı Çekoslovakya bölümlerinin ülke sınırlarına eklenmesine izin veren bir anlaşmaydı. Anlaşma, Çekoslovakya'nın bulunmadığı Avrupa'nın başlıca güçleri arasında Almanya'nın Münih kentinde düzenlenen bir konferansta müzakere edildi. Bugün, yaygın olarak Almanya'ya karşı bir mazeret eylemi olarak görülüyor. Anlaşma 30 Eylül 1938'in erken saatlerinde imzalandı. Konferansın amacı, Adet Hitler'in etnik istekleri karşısında Sudetenland'ın geleceğini tartışmaktı. Anlaşma Almanya, Fransa, Birleşik Krallık ve İtalya tarafından imzalandı. Sudetenland, sınır savunmalarının çoğunun oralarda olduğu için Çekoslovakya için çok büyük bir stratejik öneme sahipti ve bankalarının ve ağır sanayilerin birçoğu da orada bulunuyordu. Çekoslovakya devleti konferansa davet edilmediği için kendisini Birleşik Krallık ve Fransa'nın ihanetinde bulunduğu düşüncesiyle Çekler ve Slovaklar Münih Sözleşmesi'ni Münih Dictat olarak adlandırdı.
