Neoplasticizm olarak da bilinen "Style" için Hollandaca olan De Stijl, Amsterdam'da 1917'de kurulan bir Hollanda sanat hareketi idi. De Stijl, sanatçılardan ve mimarlardan oluşuyor. Daha dar bir anlamda, De Stijl terimi, Hollanda'da kurulan 1917-1931 yılları arasında bir eser anlamına geldi. De Stijl, Hollandalı ressam, tasarımcı, yazar ve eleştirmen Theo van Doesburg tarafından yayınlanan bir dergi adına da grubun teorilerini yaymaya hizmet ediyor. Van Doesburg'un yanındaki grubun ana üyeleri Piet Mondrian, Vilmos Huszár ve Bart van der Leck'in ressamları ve Gerrit Rietveld, Robert van 't Hoff ve J. J. P. Oud'un mimarlarıydı. Grubun eserleri için bir temel oluşturan sanatsal felsefe, neoplastik olarak bilinir; yeni plastik sanat.
