Nerva, 96'dan 98'e kadar Roma İmparatoru idi. Nerva, altmış beş yaşında İmparator oldu ve Nero'nun emanet hizmetinden sonra Flavian hanedanının hükümdarı oldu. Nero yönetiminde, imparatorluk dâiresinin bir üyesiydi ve 65 Pisonian komplosunu ortaya çıkarmada hayati bir rol oynamıştır.
