Noricum, modern Avusturya'nın çoğunun ve Slovenya'nın bir bölümünün de aralarında bulunduğu, on iki kabileden oluşan bir Kelt krallığı veya federasyonunun Latince adıdır. Roma İmparatorluğu'nun bir eyaleti haline geldi. Kuzeyde Tuna, batıda Raetia ve Vindelicia, doğuya güneydoğuya Pannonia, güneyde de Italia ile sınırlıydı. Eski Krallık, M.Ö. 400 yıllarında kuruldu ve Magdalensberg'deki Virunum'daki kraliyet ikametgahına hükmetti.
